Cuckfield u10s win Sussex 8-a side softball tournament
Cuckfield U10s won the Sussex 8-a side softball tournament at the Hove County Cricket ground on Friday 15th August.
The team won all 5 of their qualifying games at Horsham (against Southwater, Ansty (twice), Lindfield and Horsham) and then all 5 of their finals games (against Rottingdean, Hastings, West Chiltington, Heathfield Park and Newhaven) to win the tournament in impressive style. A key feature of their success was excellent fielding under pressure and dynamic batting which saw them strike no less than 34 sixes in their 5 finals games.
