In the final, Lindfield came up against Preston Nomads, who had also had an amazingly successful week. Nomads batted first and were kept in check by some useful new ball bowling by Ross Pedley and Jamie Atkins. Alex Hunt was the mainstay of the Nomad innings with an excellent 53, while McCammon took the bowling honours with 2-16 in 7 overs. At the end of their allotted overs, Nomads had made a competitive total of 147-7.

This looked more than enough when the Lindfield reply got off to a difficult start. Wickets fell on a regular basis and they were struggling at 55-5. However, as has been the case throughout the season, someone from the side took responsibility for getting the team over the line. This time Thanvi Choudhury (39) and Jamie Atkins (45*) combined to put together a partnership of 86 and got them to the last over needing 7 runs. This Lindfield made with a ball to spare as wicket-keeper, Danny Bulgin, hit the winning boundary.

Result

Preston Nomads 147-7 in 35 overs (Alex Hunt 53, James McCammon 2-16) lost to Lindfield 151-6 (Jamie Atkins 45*, Thanvi Choudhury 39) by 4 wickets
