Masterclasses for youngsters in the Farnrise Indoor School

Following the success of recent courses in the Farnrise Indoor School, Sussex County Cricket Club are offering children over the age of 10 the chance to improve their skills with three masterclasses led by current or ex-professional cricketers.

There are three courses taking place in February half-term, with current Sussex wicketkeeper-batsman Ben Brown leading the first of the courses which focuses on wicketkeeping.

Former Surrey and Sussex slow left-armer Chris Waller will be coaching youngsters in the art of spin bowling, whilst Chris Liddle, the left-arm seamer from the current Sussex squad will be fronting a course specific to fast bowling.

The courses are unique here at The PROBIZ County Ground as never before have youngsters had the chance to focus on specific skills during the school holidays.

Those children applying to the courses will be expected to have played a reasonable level of hard ball cricket and have a solid grasp of the game itself. They are limited to only 20 youngsters per course and those interested are asked to book early.
