Oakmeeds u15 girls reach county cricket final
Congratulations to the Oakmeeds Under 15 girls’ cricket team who played in the County Cricket Final on Wednesday 25 June.
The girls won their semi-final match against Christ’s Hospital by 1 run, with an outstanding performance from Lottie Palmer-Brown who took the final batsman out with the final ball! The score was Oakmeeds 85 - Christ’s Hospital 84.
In the Final, Oakmeeds faced Ratton School from Eastbourne. Despite missing some key players, the girls worked hard and played extremely well. To come 2nd in the County is a fantastic achievement!
