The Saints juggernautgoes rolling on withseventh win in seven

The St Andrews juggernaut rolls on in Division 2 of the Invitation League as Jack Wells (4-23) again played his part before Alex Ellis (40no) and Hayden James (21no) completed the job against Broadbridge Heath. It was the seventh win in seven, all batting second.

The 2nds also beat their Broadbridge Heath counterparts and by 10 wickets after the hosts crashed from 39-0 to 65 all out. Stuart Murray found his form with 4-23 in 12 overs and the other wickets fell to the Nichols brothers, Daniel (3-11 in 9) and Shaun (2-23).

Sadly, the 3rds were unable to complete a clean sweep as they were put in on a damp track by Rustington II. A total of 143-9 proved insufficient as Clive Mann (53) helped the visitors home with four overs to spare.

The ladies enjoyed a six-wicket win at last as they triumphed against Hastings II at Horntye Park, where Poppi Hillman (3-6 in 4) and Emily Hodgkinson (16) starred.
