Sharks face Royals aiming for home tie

Sussex Sharks are aiming to seal a home tie in the quarter-finals of the Friends Life t20 when they face Hampshire Royals at The Ageas Bowl this evening (Friday July 6, 7pm start).

The Sharks have already confirmed their place in the knockout stages of the tournament and another victory tonight will ensure that their quarter-final will take place at The PROBIZ County Ground, Hove.

They were in fine form once again on Tuesday beating Surrey by six wickets in the rain-affected match at The Kia Oval, stretching the winning run to six matches on the bounce in the South Group stage of the competition.
