A good all round performance from Scaynes Hill saw them beat Storrington by 33 runs in division 2 of the West Sussex Invitation League.

Batting first Scaynes Hill had Chris Markham (68), Nick Wright (60) and Mic hael Woodroffe (31) to thank for their total of 240-8 declared.

Matt Pickard was the pick of the Storrington bowlers taking 4-48. In reply, all ofon to get a Storrington’s top order got starts but noone went on to get a big score.

Number 10 Tom Good top scored with 45 but Joe Gallon 3-41, Stefan Hildreth 4-74 and Andrew Parsons 2-49 made sure Scaynes Hill were triumphant.
