Bradfield started strongly, keeping possession well in the first fifteen minutes, but were unable to break down a resolute Ardingly defence, before Ardingly created two excellent chances, one of which was saved off the line by a retreating home player.

Bradfield then came back and missed an excellent chance to put the home side one up, before Chris Holman struck a left footed shot into the corner to make it 1-0 to Ardingly at half time. Ardingly started the second half well, and, after a well worked corner routine, Holman struck a venomous drive into the top corner to double Ardingly’s lead.
