Brighton boys beat Manchester United 2v1
Brighton and Hovel Albion’s development squad have beaten a Manchester United XI at the Premier League giant’s training ground this morning.
A youthful team, which included tipped-for-the-top starlet Jake Forster-Caskey, former Eastbourne Borough loanee Steve Cook and striking prospect George Barker, came out on top against a United team which included a clutch of fringe first-teamers alongside young Old Trafford hopefuls.
The goals came from Barker and Ryan Simmonds.
Rio Ferdinand and Nani watched from the sidelines.
