Burgess Hill FA Cup game called off hours before kick-off
Burgess Hill have become the latest team to call off an FA Cup tie - a decision announced less than three hours before kick-off.
Although the Hillians have yet to say any more about why the game has been called off it comes a day after they revealed some of their players were self-isolating after showing Covid-19 symptoms.
Earlier in the week games involving Arundel and Broadbridge Heath were called off - the latter also involved in an FA Cup - after positive Covid-19 tests and players having to self-isolate.
Across the country a number of football matches, including several FA Cup ties, have been similarly affected.
