As I’ve said before it’s a massive game due to the magic of the FA Cup but more importantly the financial rewards for Club’s at our level. We will be travelling to Fleet to do our utmost to be in the hat come Saturday evening”.

Hillians will be without Club Captain Darren Budd who is away until 3rd October and Chris Breach who is at a wedding.

The winners of the tie will pick up the £4500 prize money and progress through to the 3rd Qualifying Round, just two games off the 1st Round proper.

Saturday’s 1-0 win over Herne Bay saw Hillians longest serving player, Neil Watts, make his 300th first team appearance for the Club. After making his debut in 2004, he has been an ever-present in the side over the last 10 years apart from two short spells away from the Club at Eastbourne Town and Horsham YMCA.

In the last few weeks Hill regulars Sam Fisk and skipper Darren Budd have also reached milestones with both reaching 100 first team appearances.
