Burgess Hill Town's match at Whitehawk was abandoned today.

The adverse weather conditions caused the match officials to call the game off after 30 minutes with the game nicely poised at 1-1.

Ben Pope made it 1-0 before former Hillian Connor Tighe equalised.

The club tweeted after the game: "You Hillians are a different breed! Signing non-stop through 30 minutes of bitter wind and sideways rain. PURE CLASS."
