Vadaine Oliver, who replaced former Red John Akinde at half-time, doubled the lead on 50 minutes.

John Yems' side had chance after chance to get back in the game and even the club twitter account said: "HOW HAVE WE NOT SCORED?!"

They did get one back through Nathan Ferguson after Tyler Frost, who had a big impact on the game, did brilliantly on the right squaring the ball across to Ferguson who powered the ball into the net.

Late on there was a golden chance to equalise after a fumble in the area between Jordan Tunnicliffe, Ashley Nadesan and Sam Ashford but the ball ended up in the hands of the Gillingham keeper and the game ended 2-1.
