The Reds were knocked out of both the FA Cup and Sussex Senior Cups with defeats against Luton Town and Ryman League club Hastings United.

Dack said: “Ofcourse you look for a reaction. But on the positive side we have won five out of the last seven, so in the league we are in good form.

“We are going to keep improving which we are doing as a club and as a group of players and taking each game as it comes and hopefully go to Exeter and get three points.”

Dack was not worried about playing in possible wet and windy conditions which have been forecast for the south west.

“I’m not really bothered as both teams have got to play in it. You have to play in all conditions and deal with what you’ve got.

“Last year we played at Bristol Rovers the goalkeeper took the goalkick and it went out for a corner.

“Then we changed ends and the wind changed with us, so we defended the wind twice!

“So you have to adapt to what you have put in front of you.

“Exeter seem to be a good team at home. They pass the ball, they try to excite their crowd.

“It’s going to be a real tough game and we will have to be at our best.

“Our league form has been excellent of late so we have just got to continue it.”

Crawley will be without defender Josh Yorwerth who is on international duty for Wales Under-21s.

Defenders Joe McNerney and Lanre Oyebanjo are out with long-term knee injuries, while striker Gavin Tomlin could be on the bench.
