This is Crawley’s first visit to the Globe Arena since they suffered a devastating 6-0 defeat in 2011.

Morecambe are in good form and are currently eight places above Crawley in tenth.

They beat AFC Wimbledon 5-2 away on Saturday which was their third away win in a row in league and cup matches.

Crawley Town manager Mark Yates expects this to be another tough outing.

He said: “Momentum helps but they beat AFC Wimbledon 5-2. We know they’re a good side, Jim’s (Bentley) a great fella and he and Ken (McKenna) have done a brilliant job there.

“We just have to look after ourselves there and perform like we have in the last two games.”
