Gregory bemoans missed chances saying: ‘We should have won 6-0’

Reflecting on a goalless draw with Carlisle, Crawley boss John Gregory felt his side should have run out comfortable winners after missing “chance after chance” in the Tuesday night match.

“Obviously Carlisle had to win, throwing everybody forward and obviously risking the opportunity of us scoring.

“For a 0-0 it was entertaining but for a manager it was very frustrating that we couldn’t kill them off.

“Our record has been pretty awful against teams down the bottom.”
