Izale McLeod nominated for League One Player of Month Awards

Crawley Town striker Izale McLeod has been nominated for the Skybet League One Player of the Year Award for February.

McLeod showed his full goalscoring talents with a hat-trick in the 5-1 win over Barnsley that owed everything to power, persistence and precision.

He also scored against Yeovil Town, while his hold-up play underpinned the 2-1 win at Swindon Town.

McLeod is the second Reds player to be nominated for an award this season following Gwion Edwards in October.

The other nominations are: Bradley Dack (Gillingham), Aden Flint (Bristol City), Jamie Murphy (Sheffield United)

The judging panel comprises Sky Sports’ Football League expert Don Goodman; Football League Head of Communications John Nagle; League Managers’ Association Director Olaf Dixon and Sky Bet Football Trading Manager Paul Lowery.

The winner will be announced on Friday, March 6.
