The Reds boss has been impressed with the winger since he came in on loan from Swansea City in March and Gregory believes the player would be keen on a return to the Broadfield.

Reds have extended his loan deal until the end of the season and the 21-year-old, who has scored twice in four Crawley starts, was again lively on Saturday.

Following the defeat to Bradford Gregory said: “It’s another good 90 minutes under his belt, finding out what life’s like in League One in front of a big crowd.

“We have spoken, he’s enjoyed himself during the period he’s been here and we’ve been able to extend his loan until at least past next Saturday (the last game of the season) which is very pleasing from our point of view, and we’ve also discussed the possibility of him coming again next season.

“I think he’d be quite keen to come again and play for us next season.”

Gregory added he was “proud” to see the Welshman wearing a Crawley Town shirt in his Twitter profile picture.

Reds played Carlisle last night before hosting Bristol City in the last game on Saturday.
