Championship side Fulham provide the opposition at the Checkatrade.com Stadium, kick off 3pm, and Reds will go into the game on the back of an excellent workout on Wednesday when they won 4-0 at Burgess Hill Town.

Apart from the injured Gavin Tomlin and Lanre Oyebanjo, the first-team squad and a number of trialists will again be on show for Reds.

Yates said: “Wednesday was a good exercise for us but things will be a lot different tomorrow.

“Fulham have strengthened their squad during the summer and it’s their first friendly in England so they will be strong. We certainly won’t have as much of the ball as we did on Wednesday, that’s for sure.

“But we’re looking forward to the game and I’m sure we will get a lot out of it. The new players are going to get their first taste of playing here and I have to say the pitch is in fantastic condition, so I think it will be a decent game between two sides that like to play.

“It’s another step towards the first League 2 game on August 8. That’s what we’re all working towards and at the moment we are in good shape.”
