VIDEO: Crawley boss Gregory hasn’t given up on the play-offs
John Gregory admitted relief as his Crawley side came away from their home game with Stevenage with a point on Tuesday - and he is refusing to give up on an outside chance of Reds sneaking into the play-offs.
A 92nd minute Matt Tubbs strike earned Crawley a 1-1 draw, that after the striker missed a second-half penalty as the hosts chased an equaliser to cancel out Bira Dembele’s first-half header.
The last-gaps point stretched Reds’ unbeaten run to seven matches, and with six-placed Peterborough also losing 2-0 at Sheffield United Gregory’s side moved up to 13th and edged closer to the play-offs.
