'˜We need to learn from our first season in the Ryman Premier'. These were the words of Burgess Hill Town chairman Kevin Newell, at this year's presentation evening, held last Friday.

A well attended evening of players, club officials, volunteers, parents, and supporters saw Sam Fisk awarded the Player of the Year award and Josh James pick up the Supporters and Players Player of the Year award for the 1st team.

Terri and Joe Stephens, wife and son of the late Malcolm Stephens, presented the Supporters Award.

The successful u18 Ryman South League team received there winners medals on the night.

Before presenting the players their medals chairman Kevin Newell emphasised: “How important it is for BHTFC to produce good quality youngsters for Ian Chapman’s first team squad and that Ian was the right manager to assist these players in their development into players not just for the Ryman Premier League but beyond, Greg Luer being an example of this.”

The club would like to thank sponsors Yann Davies of Abcom IT Solutions and Joe Galway of Macdonalds Ltd who presented the trophies on the night.
