Heath’s opponents started brightly and saw a couple of attempts just fail to hit the target. Heath then cranked up the pressure on their opponents and on 25 minutes the breakthrough came, Rob O’Toole got in down the right of the Langney defence and his low ball in was met by Jamie Weston who made no mistake from close range.

It took just 7 minutes for Heath to double their lead in the cup final, a diagonal ball in from Nathan Cooper was met brilliantly in the air by Rob O’Toole who’s nod back found Callum Saunders who out jumped his marker and looped his header over the Langney keeper and off the underside of the bar.

Heath started the second half intent on proving a point and after just five minutes they had one hand on the cup, Max Miller broke free down the right and then picked out the square pass for Callum Saunders to tap in.

It was essentially game over on 55 minutes when Rob O’Toole broke free and after rounding the keeper steered the ball towards goal which needed Max Miller to prod over the line in front of the covering defender.

The icing on the cake came on the 84th minute, Callum Saunders cut in from the right and was brought down in the Langney box that the assistant referee instantly signalled for a penalty. It was Rob O’Toole that stepped up and made no mistake from the spot fining the bottom left corner and to record his 40th goal of the season in all competitions and make it 5-0 to Heath.

With the game moving into injury time there was just time for Langney to grab a late consolation goal as a ball in was swept home from close range.
