Wright signed for the Reds in December but this was his first time being part of the squad. And along with his brother Josh, he made his first team debut for the Reds.

The former Strictly Come Dancing, I'm a Celebrity... and The Only Way is Essex star has dreamed of making his professional debut - and what a game to make it in.

After a goalless first half, second half goals from Nick Tsaroulla, Ashley Nadesan and Jordan Tunnicliffe saw them cruise into the fourth round draw.

Wright said: "It's my professional debut and it's against Leeds.

"Ok, it was only a couple of minutes but just to be a part of it and the way the boys performed was sensational. To be in that dressing room at the end there and the smiles on everyone's faces and the celebrations was just incredible.

"A proud day for me. Not only the day I made my professional debut but the day y brother made his debut too for a club that looks like we are going to be at for the foreseeable future.

And Wright did not see it going the way it did. He said: "It was incredible. Typical FA Cup isn't it? I though Leeds would win like we did either 3 or 4-0 or we would nick it at it would be a very tight game. For us to win it 3-0 is a credit to the boys and the squad and everyone involved. It weren't lucky, weren't grinding out a result, we peppered them."

And Josh Wright said it was proud day for his family. He said: "It's a great day to come into it. What more could I ask for and what more could Mark ask for as a family, it's a very proud day all round.

"The fact we both got on the pitch was a bonus, the icing on the cake is winning the game and getting into the next round. A great performance, a great result and fully deserved."
