Loxwood, Midhurst, Billingshurst, Rustington and Montpelier Villa reach SCFL Shield finals

Five of the six SCFL Shield finalists are known after a day of drama in the competition.

Loxwood are through to the premier division final after a remarkable 8-7 win on penalties that followed a 2-2 draw with Newhven at The Nest. They'll play Lancing or Lingfield, who meet in the other semi-final on Wednesday night.

In the division one shield, Billingshurst won 4-0 at Seaford while Midhurst were another team to go through on penalties - winning 4-2 in the shootout after a 1-1 draw at Worthing United.

The division two final will be between Rustington - who were 4-2 victors at Upper Beeding - and Montpelier Villa who triumphed 7-6 on penalties following a 0-0 draw with TD Shipley.

The three finals are due to be played in the week starting Monday, May 17 - with fans allowed at all three. Dates and venues will be confirmed soon.
