Management shock at Haywards Heath Town
Haywards Heath Town have had another change in the management team.
At the beginning of August, Lloyd Cotton was named joint manager of Haywards Heath Town with Shaun Saunders.
But by the end of the month, Saunders stepped down leaving Cotton as sole manager of the Isthmian South East Division side. And in his first three games he lost two - one in the FA Cup - and picked up a point against Burgess Hill Town on Saturday.
Now Cotton has left the club and Shaun Saunders has stepped back into the role.
Chairman Mick Cottingham, who is stepping down to take up the vice-chairman role, said: "Lloyd Cotton has left the club and Shaun Saunders has come back.
"We are not quite sure what happened but I understand he has just left.
"Saunders has now stepped back into the role.
"I am also stepping down as chairman and we have a new chairman who push the club forward.
Cottingham revealed Steve Isherwood, who has run the juniors at the club, will be the new chairman but added: "This is all depending on the committee agreeing to it all, but I thin everybody will go with this."
