It was a fairly even first half at the Green Elephants Stadium.

The Hillians had a blistering end to the half with McCollin rattling the crossbar and going close with the rebound. A few minutes later Pat Harding saw a great effort go just wide of the far post.

Kingstonian were on top for part of the second half with Alfie Doughty managing to get into a number of dangerous positions and supplied some good balls into the box for the visitors. Josh James was forced into good save from a header.

The momentum then shifted to the home side and Tariq Richards hit a thunderbolt of a shot from distance which went wide of the post.

But just as it looked like the points would be shared, Elliott Buchanan finished off a smart move for Kingstonian with five minutes remaining on the clock.
