Two goals in last two minutes deny Hassocks three point

Two goals in the last two minutes denied Hassocks what looked like a good three points against one of the title favourites.

The Robins had stormed into a 2-0 lead at the break against Eastbourne Town and looked like they would secure a very big three points before things took a turn for the worse in the last 10.

So for the that first half - Hassocks took the lead from an absolute dream of ball in from Luke Akehurst which was nodded in by Dan Stokes.

And Hassocks went two ahead from Josh Hawkes’ 40 yard effort that flew straight in to underline what a fantastic signing he has already proved to be.

Unfortunately for Hassocks, the class of the opposition shone through and two goals in the last two minutes turned a potential three points into zero for the Robins.
