Reds went behind after 13 minutes when Matt Clarke headed in Ben Davies’ corner-kick.

They went further behind in the 26th minute as Kyle Bennett put away a cross into the box by Enda Stevens.

Gwion Edwards hit the bar for Crawley in the second half and substitute Gavin Tomlin and Matt Harrold both had chances to score.

Finally Portsmouth made it 3-0 with seven minutes to go through a goal created by massive run by substitute Ben Tollitt which was tapped in by another player who had come on from the bench, Gary Roberts.
