'When I come on I want to make a difference' - Crawley Town's super-sub James Tillley on netting the winner against Mansfield Town

James Tilley once again came off the bench to nick all three points. The talented youngster fired the ball past the Mansfield keeper with a powerful strike late in added time to give Crawley the win.

It would be a case of history repeating itself - as the match-winner against Colchester United came off the bench, had one shot, and gave the Reds victory in a rather drab affair.

"When I come on I want to make a difference," stated Tilley. "To score is the main thing..[so] yeah...[I'm] buzzing!

"I see the ball coming over to [Tom] Nichols...so I thought I'd run beyond him because I knew he was going to get a flick-on.

"I've gone through and lucky enough to score."

Whilst, Tilley will take the plaudits Crawley have recorded three clean-sheets on the bounce and a fourth consecutive clean-sheet at home.

"We worked hard and...kept a clean-sheet and nicked it and the end, " added Tilley.

Keeper Glen Morris was quick to echo Tilley's words and praise the quality of Joe McNerney and Jordan Tunnicliffe in front of him.

"The boys in front are doing really well for me...there's not too much for me to do," stated Morris.

"I didn't have a lot to do today and that's what you want as a goalie. You want them heading and clearing everything.

"It's hard graft, it's hard work and we've got to keep doing it.

"The game...[against] Walsall we've got to make sure we're really on top of it and I'm sure we'll come out winners."
