With the second lockdown starting this week - the return of fans to stadiums seems a long way off. The Reds are currently seventh in the League Two table following impressive home wins against Tranmere and Cambridge United.

And Konyar says the one downside to the team's current good form is not have the fans there to celebrate with them.

He said: "That’s one downside. To go to Oldham and win our first away game for 13 months and the fans weren't there to see it was very sad

"Our fans have been travelling away for over a year and seeing us get lose, draw, lose, lose, draw, I really feel for them. They put a lot of effort into it. Without them we are nothing. It’s sad to not have them with us at the moment."

There is small doubt that Sunday's FA Cup tie away at Torquay United will go ahead, but Konyar is not worried.

He said: "At the moment it is not in doubt. But it seems within hours and minutes now things change a lot, I expect something to happen.

"At the end of the day the most important thing is the world survives what we are going through. We are talking about a football match and there are 400 people dying a day, I think you have to look at the big picture."
