After several years without the accompanying song of the local cuckoo population, this Sunday the players were serenaded from all points of the course, which was in lovely condition having enjoyed a good drop of water over the last few days.

Phil, the club chef, produced a very welcome roast lunch which was savoured by all as they enjoyed the almost summer like weather. The scores ranged from a modest 23 through the thirties with the winners having a great round and finishing with the amazing score of 42 points. Well done Alison Smith and Neil Sutherland. The runners up were Andy Holden and Toto Promkot, with Chris Smith and Janet Hale taking the third spot.
