Gösta’s final report to the 50 members attending the AGM highlighted a 15% increase in Senior’s membership in 2014, a very successful match season, well supported away days and breaks, retention of the prestigious Leslie Southon Bowl and a very much enjoyed Christmas competition and lunch.

New Senior’s Captain, Bob Hall, in response, stated that he was honoured to be elected Senior’s Captain and would find Gösta a hard act to follow. Bob announced that the Senior’s Committee had taken note of a number of issues from the recent survey of members and would be taking these forward in 2015. Items of note included measures to shorten match days and improve inclusiveness for new members. He concluded the meeting with a warmly received invitation to join him at the bar for a drink.
