It was perfect Autumnal weather, the course in splendid condition reflecting all the hard work of the Green staff over the past few months helped the scores in the Stableford competition.

Winner was 1999 Captain Mick Brixey (15) with 38 pts

R/up : Alan Williams (10) with 37 pts

3rd : Ellis Pagden (5) 35 pts.

Winner of the Breakthrough Brooch for Lowest Nett in September Medal went to Karen Spicer.

Also with the Tuesday Medal, Lady Captain ,Karen Spicer presented the 1st Prizes from her rained off Captain’s Day, to the Winners of the two Groups. However, as Karen herself won Group I, the prize went to Lynne Chopping the Runner-up and Margaret Clark.
