The West Sussex Billiards League match held at the Goring Club saw Mid Sussex outwitting a strong Worthing side three frames to one.

Ken Warren gave the Middies a bright start when he defeated Jason Alford 200-151 which included a 39 break. Barry Martin won a close encounter to defeat Mick Lott 200-185 and to place his team into a 2-0 lead.

The host’s Jason Goodwin produced top quality billiards when he fluently built breaks of 41 and 95 then to move on to win 200-107 against Ian Janman. The visitor’s Stuart Williamson has shown fine form this season and this was seen in his 200-163 success over Lee Zitouni, the referees for the match were Dennis Wakeford and Roy Tucknott.
