Webb Ellis Trophy set to stop in Burgess Hill

WITH the Rugby World Cup now just under three months away Burgess Hill Rugby Football Club have received some great news.

The club are pleased to announce that the Webb Ellis Trophy will be making a stop off at The Triangle on it’s official tour of the UK.

The trophy will be stopping off at the club on Wednesday, September 2.

On the day you can learn more about the sport with a rugby knowledge centre, test your skill with rugby related games and take part in a workout between 10am-2pm.

The trophy will be present from 11am-1pm, for what will be the only only West Sussex stop on the Webb Ellis trophies tour of Britain.

Coveted by the world’s best players and seen by millions of fans, the Webb Ellis Cup is one of the game’s most instantly recognisable icons and has been showcased to audiences around the world on it’s international tour.
