Winter weather forces Plumpton to abandon racing
Hopes of a jam-packed race card at Plumpton on Monday afternoon have been dashed by frost and snow.
The track tweeted early this morning: Morning All, We've had to abandon today's fixture due to frost in the ground and snow on top with no prospect for improvement.
"Keep well and have a good one."
Officials at Fontwell will hope there's a rise in temperatures that allows their racing to go ahead on Wednesday.
