Rugby sevens will allbe in a worthy cause

Rugby players will be out in forced at Burgess Hill RFC on Saturday to take part in the club’s sevens and family tag tournaments, which this year are in aid of Break Through Breast Cancer.

The gates at Poveys Close will open at 10am, with matches kicking off from 11.30am.

As well as the rugby, there will be a demonstration by the youngsters who have been attending the club’s pre-school rugby programme called Tikes and Tacklers.

In addition there will be stalls, refreshments and other activities and entertainment.

There is racing at Brighton this afternoon (Thursday), with the first race at 2.20pm and the last at 5.55pm. There will be an evening meeting next Thursday (July 25) when the first race is at 5.15pm.
