Glen has been involved with rugby for over 30 years as a player, supporter and a coach. As a junior player he trialled for County and Wales and whilst serving in the Royal Navy represented them at U21s and Combined Services. Glen was even a member of the Fleet Air Arm Field Gun Crew and took part in the famous Royal Navy Field Gun Competition at the Royal Tournament.

He is currently a Community Coach at Harlequins and has just started as a Coach Developer with the RFU.

Glen coaches as part of the Sussex RFU Regional Development Player Programme and Sussex U18 Women’s Team and this breadth of experience and insight into a wide range of rugby activities will provide a platform for Heath as the Club looks to consolidate its position as the leading Mid Sussex rugby club during this Rugby World Cup year.

Commenting on this appointment, Mark Newey Chairman of HHRFC said “I am delighted to welcome Glen as a dedicated rugby resource for the Club and we will continue to work to put the pillars in place to build a strong and effective rugby operation at all levels, ensuring that Heath will be fit to satisfy the needs of future generations of players and supporters alike.”
