Despite going down to an intercepted try and conversion during the opening minutes - giving the travelling support some real concerns that the errors of the previous week were going to come back to haunt them - Heath got their act together very quickly and took advantage of playing downhill in the second half to run out winners by 7-68.

Heath played with a confidence missing in the last few games to give a good solid performance in advance of a tough must-win game against Lewes this coming weekend.

Heath RAMS (2nd XV) took on Hove at Whitemans Green seeing a welcome new year return to rugby on home territory after the bad weather of recent weeks.

Again Heath went down to an early opening try from Hove but responded positively with wave after wave of attack from a committed forwards pack that finally resulted in a try from James Wright which was converted to take the match into half time 7 points a piece.

In the second half Heath RAMs piled on the pressure and were rewarded with some well-earnt tries which meant the match ended 25-10 to Heath. All in all a great weekend of rugby from Heath senior teams and lots to look forward to in the second half of the season.
