Brandon Palmer currently teaches at Plumpton Agricultural College. His rugby experiences began in his home country of South Africa before moving to England and playing for Rotherham Titans in the Championship. He then moved to London and latterly played for Blackheath.

Nick Page. Lewes Rugby Club Chairman, said: “It’s great to find someone like Brandon. As a prop forward, his input to our scrummaging will be invaluable. He is enthusiastic and keen to get back into rugby to help the players develop and especially - along with their current coaches - our Colts players (17 to 18 year-olds), preparing them to be ready to integrate and play for our future senior sides.

"By the time we do restart, we will have updated changing facilities at the Stanley Turner Ground, plus initiating plans to assess the Clubhouse’s suitability for the medium to longer term.

"It should be exciting times to come; with our two Ladies sides going from strength to strength and thriving Minis & Juniors sections, along with our Senior men, we hope that people in the area who want to be involved in local rugby - be it to play, support or helping in other ways - will do so at Lewes RFC.”
