The RFU agreed to use teams' playing record in the season so far to calculate final tables and work out who would win titles and be promoted or relegated.

Those calculations have now been done it's good news for Haywards Heath and Crawley and for Chichester twos.

The highest-placed team in Sussex are Worthing Raiders, who play in National two south (the fourth tier of the English game) - and that's where they stay, having finished ninth, well clear of the relegation zone.

Brighton compete in the London and south-east premier and they are also staying put, having ended ninth, three clear of the drop zone.

Also going nowhere are Chichester following their eighth-place finish in London one south.

Moving down a level we find our first Sussex champions of the season - Haywards Heath have been declared winners of London two south-east and will go up to London one south for the 20-21 campaign. Crowborough and Hove stay in that division after mid-table endings.

In London three south east Healthfield and Waldron remain where they are but Uckfield are unlucky to be relegated, having finished third from bottom just four points behind Gillingham.

In Sussex one it's congratulations to Crawley, confirmed as title winners having already won the Sussex Shield, while East Grinstead, Eastbourne, Burgess Hill, Hellingly, Seaford, Lewes, Hove II and Barns Green all stay put.

In the Hants premier Bognor finished a creditable fourth but are remaining there for the new season, while they will be joined by Hants one champions Chichester twos.

Kent one contains Hastings and Bexhill and will do so again next term after they finished fourth.
