Squash clan clean up

The Malik squash dynasty made a flying start to the new squash season when competing at the Sussex County Closed tournament over the weekend.

Playing at the Corals Squash and Fitness Club in Hove, they claimed five first places, a 1,2,3 in the under nine competition and a plate winner in an older age group.

Heston Malik was the junior under nine winner and also finished fifth in the u11 event. In the younger age group final he beat his twin brother Bailey, who went one better in the u11 event by finishing fourth.

Sumner Malik was third in the u9, thus making it a family 1,2,3 for the second year running, and also won the u11 plate.

Curtis Malik retained the u15 county title, as did Torrie in both the girls u11 and u13 events and Perry in the u13 competition.
