Stacey makes amendsby sealing team winfor Northern Ireland

Stacey Hancock sank the winning 8-Ball amid jubilant scenes in Blackpool to give Northern Ireland ladies a landmark team triumph against England.

The Burgess Hill 27-year-old made up for the disappointment of going out in the last 16 of the world singles by winning the decisive match to seal a 13-11 victory.

England had threatened a major comeback by winning the previous two frames but on a day of marathon matches and exciting finishes, the conclusion to the ladies final just about topped the lot.
