TennisGedin defends Weald Championship title
Timmy Gedin successfully defended his Weald Open Championships tennis title earlier this month.
The men’s singles winner a second straight year saw off Peter Molloy in two-sets to ensure he secured the crown for a fifth time. As well as Gedin retaining his crown, Petra Sedova stepped up to once again become ladies’ singles champion in the Weald competition.
Sedova’s win was her sixth at the same venue after she saw off Clare Davenport in a hard-fought final.
