The event on Sunday, June 14, embraces the wonderful countryside of East and West Sussex, starting and finishing in the centre of Burgess Hill taking in Scaynes Hill, Forest Row, Horsham, West Chilting and Henfield.

There are three stunning routes to choose from to test all abilities and all routes start off relatively flat before heading into the Ashdown Forest area where most of the major hills for all three routes reside.

For the seasoned cyclist is the 87-mile classic route which is hilly course to savour and relatively car free.

The challenge route is 60 miles has all the hard stuff packed into a smaller distance for the strong but those of less endurance.

The tour route is just 47 miles and perfect for those entering their first cyclosportive.

In this year’s event, Phil Liggett - the voice of cycling - is taking part to raise awareness of the charity he is patron of which is the Helping Rhinos charity.
