And the question has to be asked: is Seaford ready for this saucy show?

Ready or not, the event premieres on Saturday, March 19, at 7.45pm.

Award-winning hostess Dawn Gracie thinks Seaford can handle it.

She said: “Burlesque is a form of theatrical entertainment, which is amusing and highly entertaining – and it can be very surprising as well. It’s a celebration of the body and not necessarily just the female body.”

As well as event hosting, Dawn teaches themed burlesque classes, which aim to bring confidence and fun to all her students.

Tickets for her variety shows sell out quickly in West Sussex and she is hoping a broad-minded audience in Seaford embrace the acts she is bringing for her one-night show, including Violet Blaze, Alfie Ordinary and Lolita Yves.

Flamboyant drag star Cherry Liquor is tipped to shock and delight the audience with her biting humour.

Tickets cost £10 and are available (over 18s only) at www.ticketsource.co.uk/thebarntheatre or from the Tourist Information Centre, Church Street, Seaford.

Dawn has spent over ten years developing her skills in the entertainments business. She loves interacting with her audience, whether it’s a wedding party or a group of her Starlet Daze students.

Dawn is also an accomplished and professional producer with her very own Cabaret Club in Chichester.
