Mark Morriss (frontman of The Bluetones) is set to play a gig in Lewes with Sussex band The Standard Lamps.
The concert takes place on Saturday, November 21, at All Saints Arts Centre, Friars Walk, Lewes (7pm).
Mark Morriss is a singer-songwriter who made his name fronting English indie outfit The Bluetones.
Leading the four-piece over a fruitful 15-year period, Mark and the band scored 13 top 40 singles and three top 10 albums, touring the globe extensively throughout the UK, Europe and Japan, before going their separate ways in October 2011.
Mark Morriss has since had a successful solo career and released three albums: Memory Muscle, A Flash of Darkness and, earlier this year, a covers album: The Taste of Mark Morriss. He is currently recording a fourth.
Other support acts at the Lewes gig include Linus & Lucy and Jason Loughran.
