On Friday August 28 award-winning jazz singer James Tormé will celebrate legends from Ella Fitzgerald and Ray Charles, to Miles Davis and Frank Sinatra, and his own father, the great Mel Tormé.

Take a journey through layers of stage and screen history, as one of the truly great jazz singers of a new generation comes to Rye for this exclusive appearance.

St Marys Church in Rye also plays host to two other outstanding concerts on Sunday August 30 when the festival presents GoGO Penguin, a remarkable Mercury Prize nominated jazz trio from Manchester, who are taking the jazz world by storm.

Monday August 31 sees multi-award winning blues singer Jo Harman perform a special intimate afternoon concert. Jo is one of the most profiled and rising blues singers in the UK and performs to sell-out audiences across the UK and in Europe, and this very special concert will be no exception, so make sure you book early.
