ABRAHAM LINCOLN : VAMPIRE HUNTER [3D] (15)

Did you know the famous former President of the USA battled vampires to save the country?

Of course, it’s all nonsense but this movie is splitting audiences from word go.

Some are enjoying the latest variation on the vampire theme while others have dismissed it as rather pointless.

Make your own mind up as Benjamin Walker stars as Lincoln twirling his axe in an amazing fashion (he actually learned to do this).

Dominic Cooper and Rufus Sewell also star.

THE FIVE YEAR ENGAGEMENT (15)

A rom-com that look like the accent is on the comedy aspect.

A couple, played by Jason Segel and Emily Blunt, get engaged but a series of events means their marriage is delayed.

The trailer certainly promises a good laugh.

A strong enough cast, along with the brilliantly named Clement George Freiherr von und zu Franckenstein who plays Grandpa Baba.

CHERNOBYL DIARIES (15)

Six tourists decide on an ‘extremem holiday’ and link up with a tour guide to check out Pripyat, the town evacuated following the Chernobyl nuclear disaster.

It’s all good fun until they realise that they are not alone.

Has the nuclear fall-out created some unpleasant residents?

Of course, in reality the 1986 disaster created a lot of suffering and grief, so it’s no surprise some people have complained about the film’s concept.
