Eco2home works to rehome and reuse all types of items that would otherwise go to landfill, including furniture, clothing, bric a brac and more, to save the earth’s resources.

The shop was opened by Lee Barnett, who owns Clearance Services, and Roger Cartwright, town mayor.

Lee said: “Feedback from customers think it is great to see The Martlets rejuvenated, and what a wonderful unique idea for a shop.

“This venture would not have been possible without the assistance and support of Robert Eggleston and Nadine King, centre manager of The Marlets shopping centre, who have worked tirelessly.”

The shop’s opening hours are 10am to 5pm Tuesday to Saturday, and 11am to 5pm on Sunday.
